I'm interested to know if Sheila Salisbury is related to Edith and Bill Salisbury formerly of Salford Priors, Evesham. Please get in touch if you are. Thank you.

Blaxhall Ship. What a tragedy if this seemingly intentional closure goes ahead. Of course, it's probably mostly the fault of Blaxhallians, who have grown too tall lately! What utter nonsense. Jim and Sue Grubbs ran a friendly, profitable pub/eatery at The Ship, that it was always a real pleasure to visit, and EVERYBODY was made welcome. How sad to see the changes that have been made by the present owners. Even sadder future plans.

Absolutely wonderful! It looks as if I visited before but the photos alone are worth an afternonon browsing. My wife's PRATT family came from Little Glemham a few miles away. May I recommend "Ask the Fellows Who Cut the Hay" by George Ewat Evans? It's about Blaxhall and some of those pics may be relevant. Book out of print but Amazon located mine. Very strongly recommneded. Thanks again - I will have a bowse of my Family Tree Maker ans see what I can add

Great site, so much information. Even found 'me' on a photo. Good to see the names of 50 or so years ago. Thank you.
